The Vibrancy Of Cycling.

Founded in 1900, the UCI is one of the oldest sports unions in the world, now celebrating 125 years of existence. For Rwanda, hosting the Cycling World Championships was truly a blessing. What a time to be alive, history was made.

Colorful. Passionate. Filled with smiles, laughter, and love.

People and cycling came together in one place with one common purpose: to compete, to win, and to celebrate, both on and off the track.

For an entire week, from September 21st to 28th, Kigali became everything the international cycling world hoped to experience. The beautiful tropical city known for its diverse cultures, discipline, and cleanliness opened its arms to the world.

Cheers echoed across the city as people from all walks of life filled the vibrant streets. For many fans, witnessing the world’s best cyclists gathered in one place was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Hosting the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Championships in the Land of a Thousand Hills was a historic milestone. The first time the event was ever held on African soil.
